I too rescued what I thought was a pom from the humane society where I volunteer.  It wasn't until I was looking in a breed book for another dog's breed that I realized that Wendy was a Volpino. This was just two days ago.  She looks so much like Pooh they could be twins, right down to the fawn markings.  I just couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Pooh.  Lou, found at the City of Poteau, OK
